Hand-hammered brass forms this sculptural tea service, distinguished by irregular surfaces, sweeping handles, domed covers, and dramatic petal-like bases. Its theatrical character recalls the Viennese decorative arts tradition that later found expression in the work of Dagobert Peche, whose tea and coffee services for the Wiener Werkstätte embraced exuberant, Baroque-inspired forms and hand-worked metal surfaces.
