Woven or knitted by hand, each SAVED NEW YORK cashmere, yak down, and camelhair product is made with the same care and tradition used for centuries in nomadic Mongolian culture.

To give your warm friend lasting luxury, we recommend you follow some simple guidelines.

CLEANING

Before storing cashmere, yak down, or camelhair, professional dry cleaning is recommended, as moths are attracted to body oils, perfumes, and other household scents. For minor refreshing between cleanings, air your piece outdoors on a dry day.

STORAGE

Once cleaned, store your piece in a breathable cotton zipper bag or pillowcase within a linen closet with natural moth deterrents such as lavender and/or cedar. Avoid plastic bags, which can trap moisture.

PILLING

Natural fibers may pill with wear. Gently remove pills with a cashmere comb or sweater stone to restore your piece's smooth texture.

With proper care, your piece will remain a cherished companion for years to come.
